It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Francis ‘Frank’ Gregory Musgrave on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Clarence and Martha (Kehoe) Musgrave.
Dad was a long time resident of Loch Lomond. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan. He had a great love for fishing, hunting, and gardening as well as long drives in the country.
He enjoyed driving his lawn mower, and making many different lawn ornaments.
He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
As per dad’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will take place at a later date.
In memory of Frank, donations may be made to the Cape Breton Palliative Care or Hip Hip Hooray in support of the Canadian Orthopedic Foundation.
A sincere thank you to the nursing staff of 4C for their excellent care, love and attention.
We are grateful to his physicians, Dr. Ron MacCormack, Dr. Kevin Orrell, and particularly, Dr. Anees Shehzad. A special thanks to the Palliative Care team including the volunteers whose delivery of fresh flowers brightened each week.
