Shirley Bernice Haley BAIE VERTE, NB The death of Shirley Bernice Haley, age 87 of Baie Verte, occurred at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, April 28, 2003. Born in Longley, NB, She was the daughter of the late David and Jessie (Hemeon) Harding. . Shirley was a member of St. Luke's Anglican Church, Baie Verte, and a member of the ACW. She was also a member of the Baie Verte Senior Citizen's Club. Shirley will be sadly missed by six sons, Roger (Doreen), Upper Cape, Charles Jr (Myrna), Baie Verte, Robert (Barb), Sackville, Frank (Glenda), Moncton, John (Linda) and Floyd (Sharon), both of Oshawa, ON; five daughters, Margaret (Arthur) Holmes and Shirley Callaghan, both of Baie Verte, Arlene Ward and Debbie (Michael) Jones, both of Sackville, Linda (Robert) Trenholm of Port Elgin; a brother, Frank (Sybil) Harding, Qualicam Beach, BC; five sisters, Marion Gray, Plaster Rock, NB, Dorothy (Murchie)Tompkins, Anfield, NB, Elaine (Ova) Bach, New Denmark, NB, Audrey (Herb)Briggs, Newcastle Creek, NB and Phyllis (Camille) Aube, Edmundston, NB; 30 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles in 1995; sons, Harold, Wilfred, Edward and an infant; grandchildren, Robert and Warren, as well as brothers, Harry, Norval, and Arnold. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 3 West Main St., Port Elgin (364-1300) with visitation Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held Thursday, May 1, 2003 at 2 PM at St. Luke's Anglican Church, Baie Verte, Rev. Robert LeBlanc officiating. Burial in the Parish Cemetery www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
