Gustavus ‘Gus’ Roach, 74, passed away Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
Born February 7, 1934 in Cape Breton, N.S., late of Tilbury, Ont.
Beloved husband of Carol and loving father to Glenn and Dale Roach, Gary and Lisa Roach, Kim Charette, Greg and Laura Roach, Denise Desnoyers, Rob and Beth Desnoyers and Mary and Tim Siddall. Dearest grandfather to 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and dearest brother to Johnny Roach; many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, Henry and Florence Roach; sisters, Mary and Annie and granddaughter, Melissa.
Gus was a retiree of Ford Motor Company, a member of CAW Local 200 and a veteran of the Royal Canadian Airforce.
Gus’s ashes will be placed with his father in New Waterford, N.S. at a later date.
