Roy Lirette SACKVILLE, NB - The death of Roy Lirette, of Sackville, occurred in Amherst on Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at the age of 69. Born in Sackville, he was the only child of the late Edward and Regina "Jane" (Landry) Lirette. He was formerly employed with General Electric in Sackville, and was a member of St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church. He will be sadly missed by his three sons, Aurelle (Sue) of Oromocto, Allan (Robin) of Greenwood, NS, and Andrew (Linda) of Edmonton, Alberta; one daughter, Anne (Donald) Steeves of Sackville; their mother, Aline Beal of Amherst; daughter-in-law, Sheila of Cold Lake, Alberta; five grandchildren, Keri-Lee (Peter) Jansen, Tara-Lynn, both of Mass, USA, Rebecca and Amanda, Sackville and Brandon of Cold Lake, Alberta. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, Sackville (506-3641300), 70 Bridge St., on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral mass will take place on Saturday, December 20, 2003 at 11 am from St. Vincent's Roman Cathoic Church, Father Alban Thibodeau officiating. Burial will take place at the Holy Rosary Cemetery in the spring.
