Leonard A. Killam Leonard A. Killam, 75, of Irishtown, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, March 22, 2004 after a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer. Born in New Scotland, son of the late William and Violet (Horseman) Killam and was a retired Golf Course Grounds Keeper. Leonard is survived by his daughter, Bonnie McCarthy (Allan), Riverview; stepdaughter, Fern Roy (Rene); stepson, Glen Baldwin, Moncton; sisters, Helen Carter (Herb), Killams Mills; Viola MacDonald, PEI; brothers, Everett (Ethel), Leamon Hill, Lloyd, BC; granddaughters, Tanya, Halifax, Darlene and Sherry, Moncton; grandsons, Jason, Fredericton; Randy and Chris, Moncton; Darrell, BC; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Leonard will be sadly missed by his special friend, Ethel Price and her family. Predeceased by his wife, Margaret; brothers, Jimmy, Walter, Fred, Hartley, Lester, George and Barrette; sisters, Shirley, Melissa and Della. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Wednesday, 7 to 9, Thursday, 2 to 4, 7 to 9. Funeral service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel Friday, March 26, 2004, 1:30 pm, Rev. Sterling A. Penny officiating. Refreshments following the service. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
