Edgar Gaudet SHEDIAC, NB - Edgar Gaudet, 91, husband of the late Germaine (Langis) Gaudet (1982), of Villa Providence Shediac and formally of Notre-Dame de Kent, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2004 at the residence, after a brief illness. Born in Memramcook, NB on April 25, 1913 he was the son the late Georges Gaudet and Arzélie Léger. Mr. Gaudet served five years overseas with the 14th Canadian Field Ambulance, RCAMC, in WWII. He had worked in the editorial department of l'Évangeline for 25 years and was member of the Notre-Dame du Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Notre-Dame de Kent. He is survived by his daughter, Gisèle Williams (Erwin) of Notre-Dame; three sisters, Angela Gaudet, Doris Léger (Rudy) both of Moncton, Antoinette Marchand (Philippe) of Memramcook; two grandchildren, André and Shelly; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Marrie, Eliza, Sylvia and two brothers, Léo and Eugène. Resting at Notre-Dame du SacréCoeur Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Notre-Dame de Kent with visiting hours on Sunday, October 17 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, and Monday from 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm. Funeral service will take place at Notre-Dame du Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Notre-Dame on Monday, October 18, 2004 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be held in the Parish Cemetery.
