Barbara J. Walsh 1942-2004 MIRAMICHI, NB - Mrs. Barbara Janet Walsh, wife of Manley R. (Bud) Walsh, of Bramalea Avenue, Miramichi, passed away at the Dr. George Dumont Hospital, Moncton, on Sunday, October 24, 2004, at the age of 62. Born in Newcastle, she was the daughter of J. Everard and Bertie (MacKnight) MacLean. She was a homemaker; a member of St. Andrews United Church, Miramichi; a member of the U.C.W. (Princess Anne Unit); Secretary of the U.C.W.; Chairman of the Board of Stewards; Secretary of the Official Board of St. Andrews United Church. She was the owner of her own business in downtown (Chatham) Miramichi, Healthy Edibles. She is survived by her husband, Bud; two daughters, Joyce Epton, of Saint John and Brenda Savage (Doug), of Miramichi; her parents, J. Everard and Bertie MacLean, of Black River Bridge; two sisters, Norma Williston (Frank), of Miramichi and Faye Behnsen (Gerry), of Campbell River, B.C.; one brother, Roy MacLean (Mary Laura), of Miramichi; as well as several nieces and nephews. By request, there will be no public visitation at the funeral home. A public funeral service will be held from St. Andrews United Church, Miramichi, on Wednesday, October 27, 2004, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. Charlene Maguire, assisted by Rev. David Cleveland. Interment will be in the Black River Community Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Andrews United Church, the Black River Community Cemetery Fund, or any charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated by the family.
