Mabel Clara Bishop 1901 - 2004 RIVERSIDE-ALBERT, NB - Mabel Clara Bishop, 103, of Forest Dale Home, Riverside-Albert, passed away on November 11, 2004 at the nursing home. Mabel was born on October 20, 1901 in Cape Enrage, the daughter of the late Isaiah and Rebecca (Cleveland) Dixon. She was a housewife and mother. She attended the Albert Baptist Church. Mabel loved to do puzzles and enjoyed reading. She will be deeply missed by her four sons, Lloyd Bishop, Cecil Bishop (Doris) both of Okanagan, BC and Clyde Bishop (Evelyn) of The Glades, Donald Bishop of Sydney, NS; daughter-in-laws, Hugette Bishop of Holland Landing, Ontario and Carmen Bishop of Riverside-Albert; a son-in-law, Aubrey Wheaton of Berwick, NS. She will also be missed by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mabel was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Bishop; a daughter, Shirley Wheaton; two sons, Eldon and Trueman; two daughter-in-laws, Edna and Alma; a sister and several brothers. She will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Saturday, November 13 from 2 to 5pm and on Sunday from 10am until the time of service. The funeral service will be held from the Albert County Funeral Home on Sunday, November 14, 2004 at 2pm with Rev. David Keith officiating. Interment will be held in the Bay View Cemetery, Harvey, NB. Donations to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
