Dana Reid 1957 - 2005 RIVERVIEW, NB- Dana Reid, of Charyl Court, loving husband and father, passed away suddenly as the result of a heart attack at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, February 17, 2005 at the age of 47. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Florine (Thompson) Reid and the late Raymond Reid. For a lot of people, he was "the man who walked the four dogs" in Riverview almost every day. He worked at CN Rail as an Ultrasonic Tester. He was a Past Master of Coverdale Lodge # 52 F&AM, Past Patron of Fidelity Chapter # 36 O.E.S., member of the Luxor Shrine Club of Moncton, and he was a part of the Luxor Mini Kar Unit of Moncton. He had a passion for his dogs, Lady, Maggie, Hershey and Abby. He was known for his kindness for people and his sense of humor. He is survived by his mother, Florine Reid; his wife, Susan (LeBlanc) Reid; one daughter, Shauna, at home; one son, Scott, of Moncton; one sister, Paula (Bill) Green of Saskatchewan; two brothers, Bill (Shirley) Reid of Oakville, ON, and David (Barb) Reid of Fredericton; and by several nieces and nephews. Resting at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home with visitation on Monday, February 21, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Masonic Service will be held at 6:30 pm and an Order of the Eastern Star Service will be held at 6:45 pm on Monday, February 21. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at 10:30 am at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will follow the service. Donations can be made to the SPCA of Moncton.
