Gordon Ramsay McGibbon ANAGANCE, NB - Gordon Ramsay McGibbon of Anagance, NB, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, May 12, 2005 at the age of 78, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Anagance Ridge on November 15, 1926, he was the son of the late William and Jeanie (Bryce) McGibbon. A principled and hardworking man who greatly valued his family and friends. He was self employed in the forestry industry and had a great love of the outdoors. He was a member of the Anagance United Church and an elder for several years. He was a charter member of the Anagance Senior Citizens. He will be sadly missed but remembered with great joy by his wife of 55 years, Pauline (Brown) McGibbon. Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, William and his wife Lois (Chambers), and Peter and his wife Cathy (Connors) both of Anagance; one daughter, Mary Jean Titus and her husband Ivan of Sussex; six grandchildren, Ben, Hal, Meaghan, Jesse McGibbon and James and Rebecca Titus. He is survived by his brother, Archibald and his wife Jean of Sussex; his sister, Eris MacIntosh of Chatham, Ontario; as well as several nieces and nephews. Gordon was predeceased by his sisters, Jean Harper, Bessie Elliott, Elsie Hunt, Glennie Northrup. Visiting hours will be held from Armstrong's Funeral Home, Petitcodiac on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The Funeral will be held from St. James United Church, Petitcodiac, on Saturday, May 14, 2005 at 11am, Rev. C. Youland officiating. The burial will be held in the Anagance Cemetery.
