Carol (Carl) J. Pineau (1930 - 2005) MONTREAL, QC - The death of Carol (Carl) Joseph Pineau, 74, of VilleSt-Laurent, Que., occurred following a sudden illness on Monday, August 22, 2005, at Sacré-Coeur Hospital, Montreal. Born in Hope River, P.E.I., on October 12, 1930, he was the son of the late Michael and Rose (Pineau) Pineau. He is survived by his wife, Alma (Vani); one brother, Omer (Claudia), Hope River, P.E.I.; five sisters, Eunice Leger (late Roger), Dieppe, Marie Doiron (late Ivan), Hope River, P.E.I., Enid Watson, Dieppe, Freda Cormier (Valmont LeBlanc), St-Philippe, and Cynthia Mooney (Gerard), Iona, P.E.I.; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Jeannette (1955), and one brother, Roy (Mary) (2003). Carl lived and worked for most of his life in Montreal after leaving P.E.I. to study in Quebec. He also lived in Moncton for a short time in the early 1950's. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Ann's Church, St. Ann's, P.E.I., on Friday, September 9, 2005, at 9:00 a.m. Cremation and interment have taken place in Montreal under the care of Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery, (514) 735-1361.
