Eric Goguen COCAGNE, NB - Eric Goguen, 91, husband of Florence LeBlanc of Cocagne, NB passed away at the Dr. G.L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB on Friday, October 21, 2005 after a lengthy illness. Born in Cocagne, NB on April 1, 1914 he was the son of the late Albénie Goguen and the late Cédélice Bourque. He was the founder of Goguen Lumber of Cocagne. He attended the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church in Cocagne NB. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, third degree, of the Cocagne Council. Eric is survived by his wife, Florence Goguen; four daughters, Annette Bourque (Jean), Evéline Goguen, Jeanne Goguen all of Cocagne, Aline Goguen-Wong (Tom) of Vancouver, BC; five sons, Ola (Annette), Leonard (Adrienne), Rhéal (Pauline), Yvon (Kathy) all of Cocagne, Jean (Lise) of Notre-Dame de Kent; sister, Victorine Allain of Cocagne; 16 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; as well as several nephews and nieces. Eric was predeceased by four sisters, Florida, Anita, Aline, Eva; and two brothers, Aurèle and Paul. Resting at Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Cocagne, NB with visitation on Sunday, October 23 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Monday from 2 to 3:45 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church, Cocagne, on Monday, October 24, 2005 at 4:00 pm. Interment will take place in the Parish Cemetery.
