Annette Marie Rideout, age 64, of Neil’s Harbour, passed away at Buchanan Memorial Hospital on March 5, 2009, after a courageous battle with lung disease.
Born at Neil’s Harbour, she was the daughter of Eliza (Fitzgerald) MacLean and the late Archibald MacLean.
She was a proud mother, grandmother, friend and was a devoted member of St. Andrew’s Anglican Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry (Eric), Lower Sackville; sons, David (Sherry), Neil’s Harbour, Murray (Margaret), Neil’s Harbour, Michael (Pauline), Halifax, Claude (Florence), Halifax; her brother, Angus (Stella), Coldbrook, N.S.; 11 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter and her special friend, Roger.
She was predeceased by her husband, Herman.
There will be no visitation by request. Funeral services will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Rev. Vernon Reid officiating. Burial under the direction of Fillmore and Whitman Funeral Home will be in St. Andrew’s Cemetery at later date.
