Muriel Ruby (Chalmers) Carmichael SUDBURY, ON - In loving memory of Muriel Ruby (Chalmers) Carmichael, 74, passed away at her home on Saturday, August 19, 2006. Born in New Brunswick where she married Bonar in 1951. She worked as a furrier at Richmond Furs for over 30 years retiring in 1990. Muriel enjoyed knitting, cooking, pickling and spending time at the camp on Cranberry Lake. Muriel is beloved wife of Bonar Carmichael of Sudbury; loving mother of Ian predeceased 1977 (wife Colette of Sudbury), Karen Imbeau of Ottawa, Cathy (Husband Pat Drysdale) of Calgary, Heidi (Husband Doug Ransom) of Coniston and Sue (husband Ken Fram) of Wahnapitae; cherished grandmother of Neil (wife Shannon), Doren, Daryl, Jeff (wife Chrystal), Ken, Shannon, Kyle, Keith, Kevin, Shandi and great grandchildren, Nathan and Austin; dear daughter of William and Ruth Chalmers both predeceased; dear sister of James of Wirton, Allister and Mary Eva both of New Brunswick, Eileen of Belleville, predeceased by Gerald, Marilyn Lou and Georgie. Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Service in St. Mark's United Church, Walford Rd, Sudbury on Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at 2 P.M.
