Edna Pearl Sutherland RED BANK, NB - The death of Edna Pearl Sutherland of Red Bank, NB, wife of the late Arnim Sutherland, occurred on Thursday, September 7, 2006 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 99. Born in Sunny Corner, NB, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Maude (MacDonald) Stewart. Edna was a homemaker, member of St. Stephen's United Church, Red Bank, member of the United Church Women and the Women's Institute. Edna is survived by two daughters, Faye Sutherland (Miller) of Newcastle, NB, Doris Yvonne Sutherland (Edward) McFatridge of Toronto, ON; two sons, John (Lillian) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NF, Bill (Colleen) of Halifax, NS; one sister, Doris Bowes (Cecil) of Newcastle, NB; 10 grandchildren, Faye Marie, David, Peter, Deborah Leigh, Bradley, Jeffrey, Brent, Tammy, Judy and Stephen; 22 great grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents she is predeceased by eight siblings. The family will receive visitors at Meadows Funeral Home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held from St. Stephen's United Church, Red Bank, NB on Sunday, September 10 at 4 PM with Rev. Charlene Maguire officiating.
