The death occurred peacefully at his residence in Souris on Friday, March 6, 2009, of Donat Gagnon, aged 77 years. Husband of the late Kathleen (nee Feehan). Loving father of Linda (Eddie) Doyle of Mount Stewart. Sadly missed by grandson Mark. Survived by brother Simon and Sister Simone of New Brunswick. Predeceased by parents Theadore and Annie Gagnon, brothers Romeo, Roger, and Leonard and sisters Lucienne and Eva. Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Monday March 9, 2009, 7-9 p.m. Funeral to be held on Tuesday morning March 10, 2009, to St. Marys Roman Catholic Church in Souris for funeral mass to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
