John Wm. Irving 1941 - 2007 John "Johnny" Irving, 66, of Upper Coverdale, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, July 28th, 2007. Born in Lewisville, he was the son of the late Corey and Opal Irving. An outdoorsman, Johnny enjoyed hunting, fishing and he also enjoyed working and painting cars. A loving and caring father, grampie and brother he will be sadly missed by his children, Tena Thompson (Glenn), Fredericton, Donna Read (Rick), Hillsborough, Barbara Arsenault (Larry), Moncton, Ricky (Patricia) and James, all of Upper Coverdale; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brothers, Ernie and Raymond; sisters, Mabel and Clara; a special friend, Eleanor; godchild, Amanda Landry; as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Diane S. Irving in 2002; by an infant daughter; and three brothers, Jim, Howard and Clayton. Resting at Riverview Funeral Home Pine Glen Rd. Monday, July 30th, from 7 to 9pm; Tuesday, July 31st from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, August 1st, 2007 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Jonathan Gorham officiating. Interment will be in Wesleyan Union Cemetery. Donations made to St. John Ambulance or the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
