Dorothy Lono 1926 - 2008 Dorothy Eileen Lono, 81, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Sunday, November 2nd 2008 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB. Born in Montreal, QC, she was the daughter of the late Charles and the late Rosina (née: Evans) Mackett. Mrs. Lono was the founder and long-time owner of Happy Times Pre-School in St. John's, NL. She is survived by one daughter, Robin (Kevin) MacDonald of Dieppe, NB; one son, Andrew (Carolyn) of St. John's, NL; one brother, Albert George (Eva) Mackett of Oakville, ON; 3 grandchildren: Stefan, Beth and Catherine. She was predeceased by her husband, Celestino in 2005 and also by one sister, Margaret Ellen Souva. Visitation will be held at the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Wednesday, November 5th, 2008 from 2 to 4 pm. Funeral service will be celebrated at the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Wednesday, November 5th, 2008 at 4 pm. Reception to follow.
