Genevieve Cook 1926 - 2009 Genevieve Cook passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at The Moncton Hospital with her family by her side. Born in Sydney, NS she was the daughter of the late John and Bertha (Dixon) MacIntosh. A caring, fun loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be sadly missed by her children, Jan (Camille) Gallant of Shediac, John (Diane), Duane and Jennifer (Jim) Roberts of the Moncton area, nine grandchildren; Jonathon, Jasmine, Scarlette, Frankie, Michael, Joey, Jenika, Jakob, Jayden and two great grandsons, Dre and Liam. Sisters, Doris Gavey of Yarmouth, Eileen (Tony) Capobianco of Mass, Vivian Winsor of Truro and Ann (Jim) MacIntosh of River Denys, brothers, Charles MacIntosh of Summerside and Frank (Dorothy) MacIntosh of Yarmouth. Besides her parents, Genny has been reunited with her husband, Jack, son James, brother, Edward, grandson Jordan and sister-in-law, Beryle upon completion of her earthly journey. Memorial service will be held from the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Thursday, March 12th, 2009 at 11:00 am followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Remembrances in Genevieve's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or NB Lung Association.
