Jeanne Marie Gallant The death of Jeanne Marie Gallant of Villa Maria Nursing Home in St. Louis de Kent, NB, occurred on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at her late residence at the age of 68. Born in Collette, NB, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Victorine (Poirier) Gallant. Jeanne is survived by: six sisters: Josephine LeBlanc of St. Anne de Kent, NB; Ella Savoie (Jean Guy) of Neguac, NB; Cecille Flynn (Archie) of Memramcook, NB; Helena Saulnier (Melford) of Chatham Head, NB; Lilienne LaRocque (Gilbert) of Chatham Head, NB; Therese Babin (Robert) of Saint John, NB; two brothers: Paul Gallant (Geraldine) of Newcastle, NB; Louis Gallant (Maureen) of Beaumondville, ON; half-sister: Alice Gaudet and two half-brothers: Wilfred Gallant and Marcel Gallant (Alice) all of Collette, NB; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Jeanne is predeceased by: brothers and sisters: Claire Stewart, Marie Gallant, Donald Gallant, Edde Gallant, Edna Ahern, Rosalie Goguen, Leo Gallant and Yvonne Chevarie. The family will receive visitors at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, Collette, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, Collette, on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 11 AM with Father Guy Lejendre officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery in Collette later in the spring. In Jeanne's memory, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
