CHARLES JOSEPH LEBLANC

LEBLANC, CHARLES JOSEPH - Charles Joseph LeBlanc, age 96, of Sackville, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Tuesday, December 15, 2009. Born in St. André, NB, he was a son of the late Hypolite and Amanda (Richard) LeBlanc. Charles worked for the Fawcett Foundry for 39 years, retiring in 1978. He was a member of St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church. He will be sadly missed by his daughter Elaine (Jean Louis) Lirette, Cocagne, NB; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister Doris (Kenneth-deceased) Hicks, Sackville. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Louise Auffrey; sisters Lila (Ernest) Lirette, Bertha (Burns) Garland, Lena (Raymond) LeBlanc, and Louise (Bud) Ball; brothers, Leon (May) and Gerald (Yvonne). Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 2 pm, Father Allison Carroll officiating. Burial will take place in the Sackville Cemetery in the spring. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
