68, New Waterford It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of their mother, sister and grandmother on Dec. 13, 2008. Born in New Waterford, she was the daughter of the late Sylvain and Violet Christina (Cameron) Brenna. Bugsy was a kind and generous person, had many, many friends, loved bingo, cooking and baking and attending flea markets. She is survived by one daughter, Helen (Kevin) and her twin daughters, Sylvia and Ashley; son, Donald (Norma), their daughters, Angela and Lindsay; son, (Poco) Harold, Jr.; sisters, Lorrine, Germaine and Betty (Wayne) Gillis; brothers, Tony (Judy), Sylvain (Pierrette), Phonse (Marion), Donny (Margaret-Ann) and Jerry 'Jooky' (Sis) and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Eddy, Henry and Johnny, sister, Carmel in infancy. Visitation will take place Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2008, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., at McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford, 862-7500. A funeral mass to celebrate Bugsy's life will take place Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008, at 2 p.m. in the Parish of St. Leonard/Mt. Carmel Church, with Fr. Gerald Campbell officiating, with cremation to follow and interment in Mt. Carmel Cemetery at a later date. A luncheon will be held at St. Agnes parish hall, Convent Street, all are invited.
