Mom was a lifetime member of the Coal Town Chorus and St. Anthony's choir. In her younger years, she was a cub scout leader and taught religion in her home. She was a gentle, talented mother who taught us well and passed on to us her strong Christian faith and generous ways. Lokie will be missed by all and forever loved and remembered. Visitation will take place today (Wednesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Curry's Funeral Home, Glace Bay. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10 a.m. from St. Anthony's Church with Fr. Conrad Edwards officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery with a reception to follow in the church hall. Family flowers only.
