Dover, NH Josephine MacDonald, 93, died peacefully, surrounded by her family at Bellamy Fields Assisted Living Facility in Dover. Born in New Waterford, N.S., Canada, on July 25, 1915, she was the daughter of Frank and Susan (Colbert) Rice. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Dr. John A. MacDonald; daughter, Leone Edwards and husband Joe, Zephyerhills, Fla.; sons, Frank, Kittery, Me., and John B. and wife Donna, Dover; grandchildren, Todd Edwards, Dale Edwards and Daniel J. MacDonald; and her sister, Marguerette Caldwell, Canada. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Richard, sisters, Carmella and Veronica and her granddaughter, Tracey L. MacDonald. Memorials in her name may be made to the charity of your choice.
