Boucher, Elise (née King) (1916-2010) - It is with great sorrow that the family of Elise Boucher announces her sudden passing on her late husband’s birthday Thursday, February 25th, 2010 at the Foyer Bernice Hebert, Bouctouche, at the age of 93 years. She was the daughter of the late Clovis and Nélida (Desroches) King. Elise was the wife of the late Henri Boucher of Cap Lumiere. She is survived by four daughters; Joanne (late Jack) Babineau of Richibouctou Village, Irene (Paul) Cormier of Jardineville, Annette (Leo) Boucher of Leominster, Mass., Denise (Irois) Bernard of Bouctouche, one son; Omer (Violet) Boucher of Cap Lumiere, 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, one brother; Ferdinand King, and four sisters; Anna Bernard(late Eugere), Yvonne (late Roger) LeBlanc, Irene (Arice) Maillet and Deliza Caissie, as well as many nieces and nephews. Other than her parents and her husband, Elise was predeceased by her two sons; Emery and Armand, and four brothers; Emery, Willy, Leandre, Augustin, and three sisters; Edmée, Edna, and Dorilla.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010 at 4:00 pm at the St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church. The family will receive friends and family at the Club d’Âge d’Or for a reception after the funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to the N.B. Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
