Peacefully at the Wedgewood Manor Summerside on Friday February 26, 2010 of Constance M. (MacFarlane Corbett) Carruthers formerly of Albany aged 88 years. Born in Fernwood on April 19, 1921 daughter of the late J. Harrison and Hazel (Davison) MacFarlane. Mother of Ted (Susan) Corbett, Riverview, New Brunswick, and the late James H. Corbett. Grandmother to Michael (Miranda) Corbett, Brian (Connie) Corbett, Tranette Corbett and Farrley Corbett (Paul Gallant), great-grandmother to Quinn, Kayla, Alexander, MacKenzie, Emma, Max and Alexandra, great-great-grandmother to Julia. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother and sister-in-law Douglas and Nancy MacFarlane and her first husband Eric Corbett. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington until Wednesday then to Bedeque United Church for visitation from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment in the North Bedeque Cemetery.
