Peacefully, after a brave fight with cancer, John Serres passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, March 1st, 2010. John was the son of the late John Albert Serres and late Gilberte Drouyn. Predeceased by his first wife Louise in 2004. He is survived by his wife, Joan Harriman. He was the proud father to Michael of Port Perry ON., Scott (Jennifer) of Ottawa, and Alison (Marcel Olscamp) of Moncton. Brother to Nancy (Jack Van Tassel) of Brampton, ON., Neil (Sylvia) of Kingston, ON., and the late Sandy LoMottee. Cherished grandfather to Storie, Aidan, Keegan, Erika, Nicholas, Christopher, Katherine-Ann, Jayde, and Layne.
In keeping with John’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
