91, Westmount Caroline Ethel Fraser, 91, of Westmount Road, Westmount, passed away Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in Edwardsville, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Florence (Stewart) Morrison. Ethel was a member of Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah Witnesses. Surviving are her son, Daniel, Westmount; sister, Pearl Layton, North Sydney; grandchildren, Willie and Georgina; great-granddaughter, Ashley Holland and several nieces. Ethel was predeceased by her husband, Seward (1989) sisters, Irene, Greta and Lena, brothers, Stewart (1919), Stewart 'Dewey' and Weston. There will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, Wednesday, 2 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date.
