1925-2009 Glace Bay It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth MacAdam of Glace Bay. Elizabeth passed away on Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, at the Glace Bay Health Care Facility. Born in Newfoundland, she was the daughter of the late William and Helen (Penny) Cole. She was a member of Holy Cross parish, Glace Bay. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Catherine; sons, Hector, Danny and Keith; sister, Marg Nearing; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph and daughter, Donna. In honouring Elizabeth's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve St., Glace Bay.
