Born in Glace Bay, the daughter of the late Emma Jane and Nathaniel Mugford. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her residence in Guelph, Ont., Feb. 19, 2010.
She was the beloved wife of the late Peter McLean, the loving mother of Gloria and Bert, Glace Bay, Beverley and Wayne, Peter Jr., Elsie, Diane and Joe, Keith and Mari Ellen and Elaine McLean. Predeceased by one son Blair; all of Guelph.
Nellie was proud of her beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by brother, Jim, Guelph; sisters, Sadie Trenchard and June Byrne, Glace Bay, and Ann Mitchell, Oshawa.
Nellie was predeceased by two sisters, Rita and Marian, brothers, Cyrus, Fred, Norman, Roy and Don Mugford. Also missing her are many nieces and nephews.
We, the family, wish to express a special thank you to Nellie’s niece Shirley (Cameron) Driscoll.
Interment has taken place in Marymount Cemetery in Guelph, Ont.
