79, Sydney/Peru, N.Y. Rena, as she was so fondly remembered by her brothers, passed away Jan. 6, 2009, at home in New York, after a lengthy illness. Born in Boston, Mass., she was the daughter of Allan and Annie May (MacDonald) MacDonald of Black River, Inverness. Kay or Rena spent all her adult life in the United States. Surviving are her husband, Don and two sons, Aaron and Greg, all in New York. Also surviving are three brothers, Dougie, Howie Centre, Sander, Sydney, and John, Edmonton, Alta. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
