91 years old, formerly of Markland, passed peacefully away at the Health Science Center in the presence of her four daughters. Predeceased by her son George (1960), husband Jack (1989), sisters Nellie Yetman and Mary Oates and brother Herman Pottle. Leaving to mourn her daughters: Daphne (Leone) Rideout, Jean Harris (Doug Haynes), Joan Harris and June Harris (with whom she lived); special ex-son-in-law, Tony Triska; granddaughters: Kelly Dawe (Wade), Gina Rideout (Kevin Breen), Janet Rideout (Peter Murphy) and Georgette Harris; sister Mildred Martin; six great-grandchildren and a close circle of family and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday, March 11th, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Friday, March 12th, 2-4 p.m. Funeral services to take place on Saturday, March 13th at 12 p.m. at Barrett’s Chapel. Interment at 2 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Anglican Cemetery, Whitbourne. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Beagle Paws.
