93, Sydney We, the family of Charlotte Marion MacInnis, sadly announce her passing on Jan. 19, 2009, three days after her 93rd birthday. Born in Marion Bridge, Charlotte was the sixth child of the late Daniel and Susan (Dixon) MacLean, Marion Bridge. Charlotte was a devoted mother to her daughters, Susanne (Irving) MacSween and Patsy (Gordon) MacQueen, sons, Bernie (Marie), Russell (Evelyn) and Lloyd (Norma), all of Marion Bridge. She is also survived by her sister, Mora (Vic) Carrigan, Sydney. A wonderful grandmother, Nanny, is survived by her 17 grandchildren, Charlotte Ann (Frank), Jacqui Lee, Terri (Scott), Sandy (Jennifer), Louis (June), Sean (Tammy), Jessica, Hughie (Tammy), Heather (David), Donnie, Crystal, Stephanie, Joel, Ross, Kate (Chris), David and Jenny and her eight great-grandchildren, Alexander, Leah, Nicholas, Spencer, Autumn Belle, Beth, Jack and Charli. Charlotte was predeceased by her husband, Alex, her brother, Archie MacLean and sisters, Dorothy Webber, Mamie Greene, Chris MacVicar and Florence Cameron. Charlotte was a member of Sacred Heart Mission Church, Marion Bridge, and was employed as a house mother for a number of years at St. Rita Hospital. A gentle lady, Ma set an example for all her family by living a peaceful life and giving unconditional love. The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to Charlotte's caregivers at Harbourstone Enhanced Care. Charlotte will be resting at Sydney Memorial Chapel, Welton Street, Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Mission Church, Trout Brook Road, Marion Bridge, Thursday, Jan. 22 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Paul MacGillivary officiating. Interment in St. Margaret Cemetery, Grand Mira. Family flowers only, please. Memorials may be made to the Sacred Heart Maintenance Fund or St. Margaret Cemetery Fund.
