Elliott, Arthur Reginald (Reg) - June 6, 1926 - March 23, 2010 - It is with great sadness we announce that Reg died peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Born in Coles Island, New Brunswick, he was the son of the late Mildred (Keirstead) and Frederick Elliott of Whitby, ON. Married for 53 years, he is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret Ann. Sister Dorothy Wilson of Fredericton, NB. Dear father of Shaun Elliott of London, ON and Morgan and Leah Elliott of St. Jacobs, ON. Loving grandfather of Tori Mills and Sam Elliott. He was predeceased by two sisters and four brothers. He will be dearly missed.
Reg's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. on Thursday, March 25, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be held Thursday afternoon at 3 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Friday, March 26, 2010 at St. Julia Church, 251 Glenridge Ave., at 10 a.m. Rite of Committal to follow at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the YMCA of Niagara - Strong Kids Campaign.
