51, Sydney It is with great sadness that we, the family announce the sudden passing of Wayne Turner on Friday, Jan. 30, 2009, at home. Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Louis and Lillian (Churchill) Turner. Wayne enjoyed long walks, family gatherings and spending time with friends. He had a great sense of humour, kind to everyone and loved joking around with his brothers. He will be sadly missed by all. Wayne is survived by his longtime companion, Joan LeVangie; two sisters, Sandra Adams, North Sydney, Lana Nicholson, Victoria Road; three brothers, Louis (Colleen) Turner, Calvin Turner, both of Point Edward, Roy (Marnie), Mornville, Alta.; as well as several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A private family funeral service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charity of one's choice.
