Audrey Jane Fitzgerald, 69, of Dingwall passed away at Buchanan Memorial Hospital on March 14, 2009.
Born at Neil’s Harbour, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret (Seymour) Ashford.
She was a member of St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Neil’s Harbour.
She is survived by her husband, Caleb (Kelly); sons, Paul (Laurlee), Johnnie (Shauna), Scott (Kim), Troy (Stacy), all of Dingwall; sisters, Jessie Maidment, Glace Bay, Joyce (Gerald) Warren, Ingonish, Ruby (Sinclair) MacLeod, Dingwall, Lois (Lloyd) Lamey, Neil’s Harbour; brothers, Dave (Lenora) Ashford and Donald (Louise) Ashford, all of Neil’s Harbour. Also surviving are grandchildren, Jennifer, Tammy, Michael, Corey, Megan, Kelli, Riley, Bryden and Taylor; and great-grandchildren, Kiera and Ryder.
She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Budge.
There will be no visitation. Funeral services will be held in St. Joseph Church, Dingwall, Tuesday, March 17 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Carl Fraser officiating and Rev. Dan McDonald assisting. Burial under the direction of Fillmore & Whitman Funeral Home will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
