June 21, 1926 - March 17, 2009. Passed peacefully away after a brief illness at the Health Sciences Centre, in his 82nd year. Predeceased by parents Anthony and Ellen, brothers: Lawrence and Ignatius, sister Mary and her husband Henry Dimmer. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories wife Ann (nee O’Keefe), daughter Regina (Harold Somers); five sons: Gerard (Ann), Ken (Monica), Bobby (Betty), David (Carolyn) and Danny (Lucille). Poppy Vince will be forever loved and missed by his grandchildren: Mitch, Jennifer and Shelley, Jason, Mark, Melissa, Matthew, Allison and Kristen and great-grandsons: Tommy and Sammy; two brothers Joe, Placentia and Anthony, Marystown; two sisters Genevieve (Rick), Virginia and Bernice (Burt), Florida. Resting at Maher’s Funeral Home, Placentia on Wednesday and Thursday 2-10 p.m. Funeral Mass on Friday, March 20 at 10 a.m. at St. Anne’s Church, Dunville.
