Ethel Beatrice Malloy, age 97, formerly of Park Street, Trenton, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009 in Shiretown Nursing Home, Pictou.
Born in Trenton, she was a daughter of the late William and Annie (Irving) MacMillan.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by daughters, Florence Malloy, Pictou; Shirley (Edward) Royles, Central West River; sons: Stanley (Rose) Malloy and James Malloy, both of Trenton; Reuben (Jane) Malloy, Westville; sister, Elsie MacLean, Central West River; grandchildren: Harold Malloy, Brian Malloy, Greg Royles, Lisa DiPersio, Dana Malloy, Mallory Malloy; great-grandchildren: Colby DiPersio, Brody DiPersio, Briah Malloy, Brayden Malloy.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Malloy; sisters: Winnie Acorn, Flo MacIntosh, Lucy Wills, Viola MacDougall, and Marion MacLean.
No visitation by request. Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, Trenton, with Rev. Debra Orton and Mr. Fergie MacKay officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
