Oshawa, Ont. – Lorne Elmer Wood passed away on Sunday, Feb 22, 209, at the age of 76. Born in Baie Verte, N.B., he was the son of the late George and Mary (Murphy) Wood. Lorne leaves to mourn his wife Eleanor and daughters Kimberley and Kristine; one brother, Hugh Wood of Baie Verte, N.B.; five sisters, Marie Barrie (Joseph), Noreen McFarlane (James), Marjorie Hicks (Guptill), twin sister Lorna MacNeil (Malcolm) and Shirley Graham (Ronald). In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters Dorothy, Jean and Helen, and his brothers Basil and David. Cremation has taken place with burial at a later date.
