Ste-phen J. Lamb, 54, of Diligent River, Cumberland County passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at home. Born in Parrsboro, he was a son of Sarah (Salter) Lamb, Amherst and the late George Lamb. He is survived by sisters, Shirley Dickey (Gordon), Brookfield; Bonnie Salter (Raymond), Porter's Lake; Martha Thibeault (Henry), Cartier, Ont.; Erma Carmichael (Jack), North Sydney; Kathleen McIlheron (Ken), Toronto; Caroline Fleet (Danny), Halifax; Naomi Lamb (Allan Lucci), Pointe de Bute; brothers, Rodney (Doreen), Toronto; David (Suzanne), Levack, Ont.; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, William. Funeral service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday [September 20, 2008] at St. John's Anglican Church, Diligent River. Burial in the Parrsboro Anglican Cemetery.
