Passed peacefully away on Saturday, April 4, 2009, at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St John’s in the presence of her loving family, Mary Olive St. Croix of Portugal Cove South, age 89 years. Predeceased by her husband Thomas, sons: Hugh and Joseph, son-in-law Michael Myrick, daughter-in-law Sheila St. Croix and great-granddaughter Victoria Myrick. Leaving to mourn their sad loss four sons: Frank (Ingrid), Ajax, Ont., Thomas, Carbonear, Roger, St. John’s, Reginald (Georgina), Edmonton, Alta. Three daughters: Kay Myrick, Trepassey, Shirley Bradbury (Robert), Mount Pearl, NL and Agnes Boye Doe (Alex), Amherst, Ohio, USA. Daughter-in-law Diane St. Croix, St. John’s, NL. Twenty-four grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, one brother Patrick Ward, Goulds, NL, brother-in-law Francis Molloy, Trepassey, sister-in-law Viola St. Croix, St. John’s; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a large number of other relatives and friends. Also Gerald and Jean Fahey, Sharon Walsh, other staff and residents of Fahey’s Personal Care Home, Fermeuse. Resting at Fahey’s Funeral Home, Trepassey on Monday April 6 from 1-2 p.m. for (family only). Visitation on Monday, April 6 from 2-9 p.m. and Tuesday, April 7 from 12 noon-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, April 8 at 11 a.m. from Holy Redeemer Church, Trepassey.
