Patricia Ann "Pat" Glennie, 53, North Street, Westville, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 7, 2009, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born and raised in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of Donald and Joyce (DeYoung) McKay, Merigomish.
Pat will be sadly missed by her husband, Mike, sisters: Donna Wilson (Jim), Springville; Lena McKay, MacLellan’s Brook; Sherry Malcolm (Barry), New Glasgow; Ila Miller (Dale), Salt Springs; Mary Easson, (Kevin), New Glasgow; and Rachel Chisholm (Steve), Lower Barney’s River; and brothers, Donnie and Richie, Springville; father-in-law, Jim Glennie, Hamilton Road; and niece, Beth, and nephew, Dylan, who held a special place in her heart. She had three pet dogs, Maggie, Winston and Diesel, and a cat, Buddy, who were her babies.
She was predeceased by an infant son, August 15, 1986; a baby sister Joy, Feb. 2, 1962, and best friend and mother-in-law, Judy Glennie, Dec. 17, 2006.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitations will be held 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Interment will be in the Auburn Cemetery.
