The death of Dianna Blanchard of Rothesay, NB, occurred Friday, April 2nd, 2010, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of Ronald Anderson of Shannon, NB and the late Clara (Amero) Anderson. Prior to her illness, Dianna loved bowling, playing bingo and a good game of cards with family and friends. Most of all, Dianna loved her family and devoted her life to caring for them. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Dianna was a faithful member of the parish of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Besides her father, Ron, Dianna is also survived by two daughters, Leighann Stackhouse (Eric McInnis) and Heather Barton (Michael) both of Quispamsis; three precious grandchildren, Jordan Stackhouse, Owen and Avery Barton; two brothers, Ronnie and Brian Anderson (Pat) both of Saint John; sister-in-law, Mary Anderson of Saint John; dear friends, Linda Duncan and Carol McNulty; as well as, several nieces and nephews. Besides her mother, Dianna was also predeceased by her ex-husband, Donald Blanchard and brother, Victor Anderson.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB, (506) 849-2119 with visitation on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 31 Gondola Point Road, Rothesay, on Tuesday, April 6th, 2010, at 10:00 AM. A reception will follow the Mass, in the church hall. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, Saint John.
