The death of Maurice Bujold of 69 Fleurant Point Road, Escuminac, Québec occurred on March 28, 2010 at the age of 93 following a very brief illness. Born March 11, 1917, Mr. Bujold is survived by his three sons: Ed (Ivy) of Fredericton, NB; Sterling (Dorothy) of Fleurant, QC; Gene (Margaret) of Pointe-à-la-Croix, QC; son-in-law, Guy Tassé of Rosmere, QC; six grandchildren: Mike (Lynn) and Jeff (Colette) both of Fredericton, NB; Mark (Terri-lynn) of Rothesay, NB; Stephanie Mooney (Jerry) of Williams Lake, BC; Louise Tassé (Rob Drouin) of Rosmère, QC; Lynn Tassé of Gatineau, QC; eight great-grandchildren; four sisters and four brothers. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Iola; daughter, Alice; three sisters and one brother.
The funeral service was held from Maher's Funeral Chapel, Campbellton, NB on Wednesday, March 31st with Reverend Cheryl MacDonald officiating. The Eulogy was delivered by his son, Ed. Special thanks to the First United Church Choir; Norman Parent, soloist; and most especially to Reverend Cheryl MacDonald. Interment will take place at the Escuminac United Church, Escuminac, Québec this spring.
