STELLARTON – Gracia Ann Campbell, 94, of Stellarton, died peacefully at Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow on April 12, 2009.
Born in New Glasgow, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Christine (Ross) Milligan.
A big part of Gracia's life was involved raising her family on MacKay Street, and spending summers at the cottage at Pictou Landing. Over the years Gracia enjoyed curling, weekly card groups, line dancing, the Stellarites senior group and singing in the Lourdes Choir. She was an avid gardener, loved music, animals and was a long time Toronto Blue Jays fan.
Surviving are sons: David (Carol), Pictou Landing; Ross (Carol Ann), Sarnia, Ont; Paul (Delia) Lr. Sackville; Jim (Claudia), Lr. Sackville; Joel (Diane), Stellarton; and daughter, Cindy (Howard) Ardmore, Oklahoma; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by husband, Adrian; sister, Hazel; brother, Fred; and step-sister, Leona.
Cremation has taken place. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 2 p.m. Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, 112 Foord St., Stellarton.
Many thanks to the staff of Glen Haven Manor where she had resided the last three and one-half years.
