Passed peacefully away in the company of his loving family on April 14, 2009, aged 51 years, Paul Christopher Murphy. Predeceased by his parents James and Kathleen Murphy of Bell Island. Leaving to mourn with treasured memories his wife and friend Ann Marie; children Norah and Ethan; siblings Andrew (Karen Rash), Mary (Bill Jardine), Patricia (Brendan Connolly), Jim (Nancy), John (Denise); eleven nieces and nephews; loving godparents John and Noreen Lewis and a wonderful circle of family, friends and co-workers. Special thanks are extended to medical personnel, Dr. Alia Norman, Dr. Stewart Rorke and the nursing staffs of the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre and the Palliative Care Unit at the L.A. Miller Centre. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, April 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Teresa's Church with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
