STELLARTON – Margaret Viola (MacLean) Vacheresse, 93, of Jubilee Ave., Stellarton, passed away peacefully, April 14, 2009, in the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Unit, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow, July 7, 1915, Margaret was the daughter of the late Howard and Jessie MacLean.
She was a member of Sharon St. John United Church, Stellarton. Margaret worked as a housemother at the Aberdeen Hospital Nurses Residence and in Toronto for 30 years as a Nurses Aid at Central Park Lodge.
Margaret is survived by her three daughters: Nancy (Ray) O’Blenis, Churchville; Linda Vacheresse, New Glasgow; Jessie Vacheresse, Stellarton; grandchildren: Michael O’Blenis, Ontario; Katherine (Craig) Parker, New Zealand; Andrew O’Blenis, Churchville; Jonathan Bruinsma, Alberta; great-grandchildren, Liam and Nathan Parker.
She was predeceased by an infant son, John Howard; brothers: Clarence, Donnie and Jim.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation at the request of the deceased. A private family service will be held at a later date in the Durham Cemetery.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Society or the Pictou County SPCA.
Arrangements are under the direction of the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton.
