The death occurred in Ottawa Friday, April 17, 2009, of Ruby Lillian (Laughlin) Keefe, aged 84 years. Born in Sherbrooke, P.E.I., to the late Walter and Emma (Harris) Laughlin. Survived by daughter, Shirley (Roy Lavene), grandchildren, Willow, Cassandra and Jennifer, three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and brothers and sisters, Florence LeBoutillier, Blanche Forgeron of Dartmouth, N.S., Bernard (Gwen) of Ontario, and Russell (Lila) of Summerside. Predeceased by her husband, Oscar Keefe, and son, John, brothers, Kenneth and Major, brother, John, and sisters, Lillian and Vera in infancy, and brothers-in-law, Herbert LeBoutillier, Joe Forgeron, and sister-in-law, Betty Laughlin. Interment in Ottawa.
