It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cornelius Felix announce his passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Center on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008 at the age of 79 years. He will be sadly missed by his two sons: Joe (Nita) Felix in Cape St. George and Hector (Shelly) Felix in Ontario; five daughters: Theresa Felix (Calvin) and Christina Felix (Gary), both of Cape St. George, Ann (Norman) Gallant, Tammy (Levi) Young and Tracey Felix, all in Ontario. Also leaving to mourn are his three sisters: Bertha (Jimmy) Hynes in Ship Cove, Isabel Dower in Sheeves Cove and Anastatia (Teddy) Marche in Stephenville; 17 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Rose. Visitation will take place from Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Friday, July 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, July 5th at 10:00 a.m. from St. Stephen’s Parish with interment at the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on the Hansen Highway. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Bay St. George Long Term Care Center.
