It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cosmo George Combdon announce his sudden passing at his family residence in Pollard’s Point, on Friday, March 20th, 2009, in his 79th year, leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife; Elizabeth, nee Davis, his children; Gilbert Combdon of NB, George (Florence) Combdon of H.V.Goose Bay, Lab, Nina (Glen) Fradsham of Sop's Arm, Ivan Combdon (Melody) of Toronto, Ontario, John (Brenda) Combdon of Toronto, Ontario, Anita (Tony) Bloom of Deer Lake, Margaret (Bruce) Gorman of Toronto, Ontario, David (Jeanette) Combdon of Toronto, Ontario, Roger (Pamela) Combdon of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Norman (Josephine) Combdon of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Darryl Combdon of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Eileen (Colin) Canning of Toronto, Ontario, Gloria (Keith) Reid of St. John's, Kelly (Cyril) Brenton of Yellowknife, N.W.T., and Jackie (Kenneth) Johnston of Toronto, Ontario, her 36 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren. His sister; Maude (Gordon) Snelgrove of St. John's, and his brother; Joe Combdon of St. John's, NL. Cosmo was predeceased by his parents; Thomas and Margaret Combdon and his daughter; Naomi Combdon. Also leaves to mourn a number of nieces, nephews, other relative, friends and his extended family. The family will be receiving family and friends from the Anglican Church in Jackson's Arm, on Saturday, March 21st, 2009, and on Sunday March 22nd, 2009, where also the funeral service will take place from on Monday March 23rd, 2009 at 11:00 am with the Rev. Hannah Dicks officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery in Jackson's Arm.
